Research/Clinical Interests:
Dr. Leslee Subak is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with a specialty in urogynecology and pelvic surgery at the UCSF Women’s Continence Center in the UCSF/Mount Zion Women’s Health Center. Dr. Subak’s practice offers an integrated and comprehensive approach to problems related to pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence. She has a special interest in developing effective treatments and evaluating the clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of medical care for female urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. Understanding the impact of incontinence symptoms and costs on women’s lives and the effectiveness, costs, and cost-effectiveness of treatment will help women and their providers make the best treatment decisions and ultimately improve women's quality of life.
